Job advert for the GINAMO scientist based at Copenhagen Zoo
Job Description
The Scientist:
- is responsible for the preparation, design, facilitation, communication follow up, and participation in the scientific evaluation, of the in-person stakeholder-inclusive country workshops within the international project ‘Genetic Indicators for NAture MOnitoring (GINAMO)’.
- contributes to further development of the ZOO’s conservation work and the species conservation planning work of CPSG Europe.
- engages in and contributes to knowledge sharing inside and outside the ZOO, including contributions to GINAMO related publications, communications and presentations.
- contributes to a limited extent to relevant forums inside and outside the ZOO.
Working Arrangements
The position is a three-year full-time post, based at Copenhagen Zoo. Occasionally it will be necessary to work at weekends and outside normal working hours. There is a holiday allowance of 25 days per year and a company pension is available.
Start date: 1 April 2024, preferred, or as soon as possible thereafter.
